What You Can Expect When You Shop at MyWingsBooks

RETURN POLICY:

If you are unhappy with a book you get from me for any reason, just tell me within ten days of when you receive it, and you can return it for a full refund. If the reason for your return is because of an error I made, I will pay postage both ways.

PAYMENT METHODS:

I can accept checks, money orders, or credit cards through PayPal. (See special notes for INTERNATIONAL USERS by clicking the link at the left.) If you want to pay by credit card, please use the shopping cart buttons shown on the book description pages. You can use the ORDER BOOKS form for other types of payment. If you elect to send a check or money order, I will email you with my mailing address.

WRAPPING:

My standard wrapping practice is to protect books with a zip-lock bag to protect against water damage in case the package gets left on your porch during a rainstorm. Hardcover books are then packed in a corrigated cardboard box with enough bubble wrap or other padding to prevent shifting. Standard paperbacks and most trade paperbacks are shipped in bubble envelopes. Please let me know about any special wrapping requests at the time you place your order.

SHIPPING:

Media Mail shipping is shown at the bottom of each book description page and includes Delivery Confirmation. Other forms of shipping will be quoted at your request. (See special notes for INTERNATIONAL USERS by clicking the link at the left.) I always provide shipping discounts for multiple book orders. I have done my best to make the PayPal shopping cart behave in respect to calculating shipping charges, but it is not very flexible. I will refund the difference if it charges too much, or request additional funds if you want a more expensive method of shipping.

GETTING IN TOUCH:

You can use the CONTACT ME form to send me an email on any subject. If you are ordering books, it is better if you use the ORDER BOOKS page because there are fields for all the information I need.

When you use the ORDER BOOKS form to order books:

  1. The system will send me an email with your order information.
  2. I will send you a personal email confirming your order and confirming payment information.
  3. If you elected to pay by credit card, I will send you a PayPal invoice.

I check email several times every day, but this site is a labor of love for me, not a full time job, so it may take a day for me to get back to you.
