From the title page

From the Author's Note:
The impelling force that inspired my seven years of part time in research to acquire the information vital to the compilation of this book was my desire to reveal all the secrets and mysteries of judging show horses to the patron and exhibitor and to provide a written unified system that would reflect just decisions, to the end that harmony and good fellowship will prevail in the progress of the sport.
