Hackett Publishing Co.: Indianapolis/Cambridge, [1994]. Edition: Later printing. ISBN: 0872201775. Trade Paperback, 8vo, ixxvii, 584 pages. Gold wraps with red and white lettering. Condition: Good. Cover rubbed with light marginal wear and small bends to corners. Major flaw consists of lightly pencilled marginal notes and underlinings in the early pages of the book, consisting of about 34 annotated pages in all, present in the Introduction and chapters vi through xiii. No markings were observed after page 78. Apparently a scholar's copy.

Contents: From the back cover:

This new edition of Hobbes' masterpiece if uniquely suited to meet the needs of both student and scholar. It offers a brilliant introduction by Edwin Curley, modernized spelling and punctuation of the text, and a key annotative feature found in no other edition: the inclusion, along with historical and interpretive notes, of the most significant variants between the English version of 1651 and the Latin version of 1688. A glossary of seventeenth-century English terms and indexes of persons, subjects, and scriptural passages help make this the most thoughtfully conceived edition of Leviathan available.
