Contents: A collection of Far Side cartoons. On a somewhat creepy note in this otherwise humourous book, there is a cartoon on page 94 showing an airplane with black smoke billowing out and a snowman in the right seat with the caption: "Mayday! Mayday! This is flight 97! I'm in trouble! My second engine's on fire, my landing gear's jammed,and my worthless co-pilot's frozen up!" Of course, Flight 97 is the one that the passengers took down on 9/11. What are the odds that Gary Larson would pick that flight number, more than eight years before the event?
