Condition: About Very Good. Spine ends and corners bumped and worn. Page edges roughly trimmed, and some pages unopened. Binding relaxed but all pages still attached and secure.

Contents: The author's second novel to be published in book form, Richard Carvel was a blockbuster in its time, selling as many as two million copies when the entire population of the country was only seventy-six million. It was a romantic historical novel, set in the time of the American Revolution.
