Condition: Very Good in a Very Good jacket. Lower corners significantly bumped, all else fine. Jacket is lightly rubbed with minor chipping at corners and upper spine end and a few creases along lower margin.

Published originally in 1909 by the civic-minded Commercial Club of Chicago, the PLAN OF CHICAGO remains today the major historical document of one of the greatest accomplishments of American city planning. Coming as it did at the very threshold of the twentieth century, it established a high technical standard toward which future planners might strive, and at the same time it aroused and inspired layment to work for a better urban environment in cities throughout the land.
