Contains twelve colored plates and many black and white drawings. Includes a brief bibliography and index.
Condition: Good Plus, no jacket. Spine ends and corners bumped and a little worn; cover somewhat soiled and upper page edges darkened; end papers beginning to fox.
Contents: Under the title: The Horse: its action and anatomy by an artist, this work was first published in 1935 by Faber and Faber Limited of London. In 1936, a limited edition of 150 copies was printed for The Derrydale Press by R. MacLehose and Company Limited The University Press Glasgow. The book offered here was printed in Great Britain but published by Countryman Press, Woodstock, Vermont.
