Picture of Dollars vs. The People Dollars vs. The People, by Hoan, Mayor Daniel W.. Milwaukee Central Campaign Committee: [Milwaukee, WI], [1940]. Edition: No edition stated. Softcover, 5.5 by 8.25 inches, 8 pages. Eight page saddle-stapled pamphlet with line drawing on back page.

Condition: Good. Half inch chosed tear at both upper spine end, and one inch closed tear at lower spine end; upper right corners sightly dog-eared: generally age-toned, but no other defects.

Contents: Written in 1940 as a call to Wisconsonites to vote a straight Progressive party ticket, this pamphlet highlights an issue American citizens still struggle with, bemoan, and can't seem to resolve: how much political influence corporate money can buy. With subheadings such as: Humanity vs. Economic Kings, and Republicans Kneel to America's 60 Families, it's clear where the author stands on effect of big business money on elected officials.
