Monsignor Blackwell was at St. Thomas Aquinas parish at the time of his jubilee and had spent a substantial portion of his career there, so a history of the parish is included. In addition, numerous photographs are included of all the grade school classes, the choir boys, the altar boys, and the members of numerous parish societies in the year 1937, making it a lovely treasure book of Milwaukee citizens in the parish during the 1930's.
